The test is used for the direct and qualitative detection of antigens of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and is approved by the BfArM.

It is used by smear in the anterior nasal cavity.

Test procedure

Nasal swab

Remove any secretions from the anterior nasal surface and slightly tilt your head. Gently and slowly insert the sampling brush into the anterior nasal cavity (nostril) and rotate several times to ensure proper collection of epithelial cells from the mucus. Wait a few seconds for absorption of secretions, and then gently rotate the brush to withdraw.

1. Negative: control (C) 2. Positive: control (C) + test line (T). Invalid result: No control line.

Stripe at C and T positions: positive

Strip at the C position: negative

Strip at the T position: invalid or no-strip

Do not use after the expiry date.

Before opening, check the foil bag containing the test kit for damage.
